Saturday, June 14th is the date for the 39th
annual Amityville Heritage Fair beginning at 10 a.m. This year’s theme will
be the Flag of the United States. That theme will be appropriate since it
will be flag day. The rain date will be Sunday, June 15th
beginning at 12 noon. We want one auxiliary and one post member to hand out
flag history literature and small flags each hour. Auxiliary and Post hats

located at Amityville High School on Merrick Rd., Amityville
Post 1218 Color Guard and Auxiliary will participate in Amityville High School
Commencement.
Please wear formal dress uniform, bring color guard flags and meet in the High
School main office at 9:00 a.m.
